... gratefully acknowledge Him as God, who took the nature of man (Hebrews 2:14,15) to become through His life, death and resurrection the Savior of mankind (Matthew 1:21; Acts 4:12). We are thankful to accept God's gift of eternal life (Romans 6:23) which because of sin we had lost. This is available to all (John 3:16) through Christ's pardon and power as we confess our sins (1 John 1:9) and in repentance allow Him to separate us from them (Titus 2:11-15). We encourage all to be adopted into God's church family through baptism (Matthew 3:13-17; Mark 16:16) by immersion.... warmly respond to God's invitation to assemble together for worship (Hebrews 10:25). The special day of worship, the Sabbath, created by God especially for man (Mark 2:27) at the beginning of this world (Genesis 1:31; 2:1-3), is the seventh day (Exodus 20:8-11), Saturday. This Sabbath day, the Lord's day (Matthew 12:8), is the only day of the week spoken of as holy in the Bible. We focus on this day as our Creator's statement of love and care. In prophecy it is found as one of the keys in the final drama between true and false worship (Daniel 7, Rev. 12;13). We thank God that the Holy Spirit continues to communicate prophetic understanding and we believe that that gift is manifest right to the time of the coming of Christ (1 Thess. 5:19-24).
... solemnly realize that now, before the return of Christ, is a time of worship, gospel-proclaiming and judgment (Rev. 14:6,7). The urgency of delivering this message is portrayed in Scripture by three flying angels who expose the danger of continued union with "fallen" or false worship (Rev. 14:8-12; 18:1-8).
... thankfully understand the Old Testament prophetic symbolism (Luke 24:27) of the ancient sanctuary services (Leviticus) that vividly pointed forward to the cross (Luke 23:44-46; John 1:29; Heb. 9:11-15) and to the final judgment. We believe Christ's atoning ministry now brings us, through prayer, into the very presence of God the Father in the most holy place in the universe (Hebrews 9:24-28). We rejoice that Divinity has united the human family with Himself (2 Peter 1:3,4) in an unbreakable tie of love (Romans 8:35-39).
... joyfully look forward to the soon return (Matthew 24) of Jesus Christ (Hebrews 9:28). His second coming will be seen by all people (Revelation 1:7). When Jesus comes those sleeping in Christ will be resurrected (1 Thess. 4:16-18; 1 Cor. 15:12-23) to live eternally with all the rest of the human family who have accepted re-creation (2 Cor. 5:17) by the power of Jesus Christ through His Holy Spirit (John 3). Following a thousand years in heaven there will be a literal cleansing by fire of this planet (Rev. 20) after which we will enjoy life in a city without pain, sorrow or death. There all sin will not only be utterly destroyed, but forgotten (Rev. 21:1,2,4). We are promised a home in a place He has prepared for us so we can live with Him (John 14:1-3; Rev. 21:3, 6-7) and there experience never-ending joy (Isaiah 51:11).
... confidently accept the entire Bible as the inspired Word of God (2 Tim. 3:16), through which the Holy Spirit convicts us of our need and leads us (John 16:7-15) to Christ for repentance and release from sin (Luke 24:46,47). It is our purpose to live lives consistent with the God-given standard in His Ten Commandments of love (Exodus 20:1-17). We believe that through Christ we can and will accomplish this (Phil. 4:13, Jude 24) by the gift of His Spirit (Luke 11:13). We are committed to following (and sharing with others) the best possible physical, mental and emotional life-strengthening principles to honor God's Holy Spirit who has chosen to dwell in us (1 Cor. 6:19,20).
... are humbled at the enormity of the victory of Christ in the controversy for the control of this world (Matt. 4:8-10; Rev. 12:10-12). It becomes very personal to each of us as we realize that, because Christ came, we are not hostages of Satan unable to make a choice. Instead, we are individually free (Luke 4:18-21) to choose who will be Lord of our life. Daily we choose Christ and accept His Holy Spirit's power to renounce and overcome sin. Then, with the covering of His forgiveness (Zechariah 3:1-7), we can face the judgment and life itself now and in the future, unafraid (Revelation 3:5).
