Welcome to the website of the Atlanta Belvedere Church of Seventh-day Adventists, located at 3567 Covington Highway in Decatur, Georgia. We are pleased that you have stopped by to visit, and trust that this site will bring you spiritual encouragement and upliftment. If you are ever in our area on the weekend, we would love for you to join us for worship. Here are directions to where we are. Our services begin at 9:15a.m. on Sabbath (Saturday) with Sabbath School, followed by our Worship Service at 10:45a.m. For more information, call the church office at (404) 299-1359 between the hours of 9:00am and 4:00pm, Mondays through Thursdays, or between 9:00am and 1:00pm on Fridays.
The Seventh-day Adventist Church is a world-wide organization, involved in many ministries. Here are some recent statistics which show the various parts of our work; some information for those of you who are not familiar with what we believe; and a brief description of how our church is structured.
We also believe that a Christian education is vital, and that children should start from an early age learning about Jesus and what He has done for them. For this reason, the Atlanta Belvedere Church sponsors Becker Adventist School, our elementary school whose purpose is to train young minds in the teachings of our Lord and our church, as well as stressing the importance of being good and productive citizens in their community.
For those of you who are interested in the hierarchy of the Seventh-day Adventist Church, we have provided links to (from lowest to highest) our local Conference (the Georgia-Cumberland Conference), our local Union (the Southern Union), our local Division (the North American Division), and our World Church Headquarters (the General Conference). These links should give you better insight into our church organization.
